SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

In pursuance of its mandated duties and responsibilities as the implementing arm of the National Police Commission in the National Capital Region, the NAPOLCOM-NCR implemented various projects and activities in consonance with the policies and standards set by the Commission. Following are the major accomplishments of NAPOLCOM-NCR for calendar year 2019:

  • Inspection and audit of forty five (45) police offices, to wit:
    • Northern Police District Office and its Mobile Field Battalion

    • Implementation by the PNP of two hundred sixty six (266) decisions rendered by various disciplinary authorities
    • Compliance performance of local chief executives as NAPOLCOM deputies
    • PNP’s compliance with inspection and audit recommendations
  • Pre-charge investigation of thirty seven (37) complaints against PNP members
  • Disposition of eighty one (81) summary dismissal cases filed against police personnel
  • Rendition of decision on forty nine (49) appealed cases and resolution of seventeen (17) motion for reconsideration
  • Rendition of consultancy services to the PLEBs and services as resource speakers in seminars for PLEB members of the following cities:
    • Valenzuela City
    • Malabon City
    • Paranaque City
    • Muntinlupa City
  • Investigation and adjudication of eighty six (86) applications for police welfare benefits and payment of sixty three (63) claims amounting to 30.1 million pesos.
  • Processing and payment of one hundred twenty eight (128) applications for scholarship benefits of children of police officers who died or became permanently incapacitated during police operations
  • Administration of the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations held in the following schools in Makati City:
    • Fort Bonifacio High School
    • Benigno Aquino High School
    • Pitogo High School
    • Makati High School
  • Conduct of crime prevention seminars in the following schools:
    • Tala High School, Caloocan City
    • Manila Central University, Caloocan City
    • Arellano University, Manila and Malabon City campuses
    • Philippine College of Criminology, City of Manila
    • Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST), Manila
  • Conduct of bloodletting activity dubbed as “Be a Hero, Donate Lives” in collaboration with Sultan Haroun Al-Rashid M, Lucman Masonic Lodge No. 406
